What you'll learn live
Learn why demand keeps climbing for PLC programmers, what a career can look like in 2026, the different levels of roles that exist, and finally what each of them pays.
College, YouTube, learning on the job. Why each one leaves you stuck, and the three pieces nobody hands you that actually get you hired. This is the gap that keeps most people out of the industry for years.
The step-by-step path to become confident on the real industry software, build a portfolio of work you can actually show in an interview, and land the role. The same path over 2,000 electricians, techs, and engineers have used, and how you can do the same in only 6 months.
Bring whatever you've been stuck on and get answers live, straight from Stephen.
Stephen spent about 10 years as a controls and automation engineer at a switchgear company in Omaha, Nebraska — a role that was mostly PLC programming, day in and day out. It was a successful, fulfilling career, and it showed him exactly what this path can do for someone.
So in 2016 he started myPLCtraining, to help electricians, techs, and engineers learn PLC programming and move up in controls and automation — so they could work more with their brain and less with their back, without going back to college.
Today myPLCtraining is an IACET accredited training provider. It has helped over 2,000 electricians, techs, and engineers learn PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, and coached hundreds of students into new roles in controls and automation.
This free training comes from a team that teaches PLC programming for a living. Between us we have 10+ years training industry professionals, our coaches bring a combined 26 years of coaching experience, and we've helped 2,000+ students across the US break into controls and automation careers.
